100 Thousand Poets for Change, 2019 – Kingston

September 21, 2019 - 1:00 pm

100 Thousand Poets for Change: 2019, Kingston

Saturday, September 21
Afternoon: 1-5pm
Evening:    6:30-10pm

The Spire, 82 Sydenham Street, Kingston (corner of Sydenham & William)

This will be our 4th year connecting with the annual, global 100TPC event and its mission of using poetry and other artistic forms to create continued awareness of social action, injustice, inequality, peace, and environmental issues and sustainability.

This is a FREE event, but I would encourage you to contribute to the organizations we are advocating for this year.

Each year the event also tries to directly help various agencies  sharing a common interest, and this year we have chosen: Loving Spoonful, and The Spire, itself. Donation boxes will be set up for each of them.

This year’s event will again feature at least 2 dozen poetry readings and 4 musical acts over the course of the afternoon and evening sessions.

Poetry readings will be strictly acoustic this year – no mic.

Please note the 90 minute intermission between sessions from 5-6:30.
