Afrisa Dance Workshop

Afrisa with Abena Beloved is an upbeat dance class that introduces participants to modern west African music and dane called afrobeats. This class will also explore and incorporate movements from traditional Ghanaian dances for a more rooted understanding of the origins of the dance form.

Learning outcomes: Knowledge of main rhythms of afrobeats, experience with foundation movements, learning of fully choreographed dance.

This event is free and will be accepting optional pay-what-you-may donations for admission.
