Syrian Hope & Melodia Monday Benefit Concert

Hosted by ‘Fresh Start for Refugees Kingston’, a constituent group of Diocese of Ontario Refugee Support (DOORS), a fundraising musical concert will be held Saturday, May 4 at Crossroads United Church, 690 Sir Joh A. MacDonald Blvd., Kingston. Doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:30 pm start. General Admission Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students, available on-line from Eventbrite, Tara’s Natural Foods (81 Princess Street), Ardens Music (1530 Bath Road) and at the door.

The Fresh Start for Refugees goal is to raise $35,000 to support a family of four for one year.  100% of the revenue from ticket sales will go directly to this cause.




Headline performers will be Syrian Hope, a traditional Syrian folk group, and Melodia Monday, a local choral group under the direction of Doug Routledge.
