ArtsVote: When Art Meets Politics

The arts play an undeniable role in developing the vitality and character of our city. The Kingston Arts Council's Advocacy Committee is dedicated to making sure that the arts remain part of the discussion leading up to the October 27 election.

The Kingston ArtsVote campaign is in full swing!

Want to get involved? Share this video by Leigh Ann Bellamy with your friends. Stop by the KAC office to pick up ArtsVote flyers, wear an ArtsVote button to show your support, and encourage your councillor candidates to understand the impact of the arts in our community.

Want to find out what the candidtaes really think of the arts? We've asked all councillor and mayoral candidates to complete an arts-related survey and we'll publish the results here in October. Check our site and make an arts-informed decision before you hit the polls!

The official launch of the Kingston ArtsVote campaign was on Saturday, September 13 at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre. Read all about it here
