Kirsi joined the Kingston Arts Council as Executive Director in October 2018. She has been a Kingston resident since 1996 when she came to the city to attend Queen’s University, where she earned her BAH in Drama. Since that time, Kirsi has worked primarily in leadership positions in the arts, culture and tourism, including work with the Haunted Walk of Kingston, the Museum of Health Care and the iSTORM Children’s Theatre Company.
In addition to her background in theatre, Kirsi is a writer currently completing two children’s picture books and compiling a book of essays and poetry. She also recently completed her Certificate in Editing from Simon Fraser University.
Diana joined the KAC as the Administrative Coordinator in October 2016. A graduate of Queen’s University and the University of Toronto, Diana has spent the last decade in Kingston working and volunteering her time with organizations like the Kingston Association of Museums and Art Galleries, Modern Fuel Artist Run Centre, Museum of Health Care, Union Gallery and Agnes Etherington Art Centre.
Diana got involved in the Kingston arts community upon completion of her Masters of Museum Studies at the University of Toronto and found a supportive environment where she could develop her skills and interests.
Felix joined the Kingston Arts Council as the Grants Coordinator in October 2017. Felix is a graduate of Queen’s University and Georgian College and has lived in Kingston for nearly twenty years. Upon completion of their graduate certificate in Museum and Gallery Studies, Felix knew they wanted to begin their career as a part of Kingston’s growing arts community. Felix previously worked with H’art Centre, where they became engaged with non-profit organizations and diverse opportunities for artists in the city.
