Have you ever wanted to dip your toes into the world of printmaking, but felt a wee bit intimidated by the technical elements of the practice? Well, monotyping might be exactly what you’ve been looking for!
Imagine painting and printmaking had a baby – that’s MONOTYPE! In this workshop, you will learn the art of monotyping, a perfect blend of painting and printmaking, great for any experience level! Learn a variety of techniques to create fun, unique monoprints; unique because monotypes are the only type of printmaking where the result is one print instead of an edition! Learn tips on how to monotype at home, and how to adjust it for different skill levels or material accessibility, from tinfoil to plexiglass, and all the tricks that come with it. No experience required; great for any skill level!
