Inattendue et insolite, « Nombre » est une œuvre théâtrale participative, par le Théâtre Catapulte et le Théâtre la Seizième. Fusionnant la salle à la scène, Nombre est un spectacle participatif qui détourne le rôle traditionnel du public pour en faire à la fois le témoin et le protagoniste de l’expérience. En pénétrant dans l’espace, les spectateurs reçoivent une enveloppe qui contient des consignes. Dans un esprit ludique et sous l’œil bienveillant des créatrices Marie-Renée Bourget Harvey, Krystel Descary, Claudiane Ruelland et Alexandrine Warren, les participants sont amenés à prendre part collectivement à la construction d’un monde à part.
Une expérience humaine intime et universelle qui rend hommage à la rencontre et à l’exaltante force du nombre.

Unexpected and unusual, “Nombre” is a participatory theatrical work by Théâtre Catapulte and Théâtre la Seizième. Merging the room with the stage, “Nombre” (Number in English) is a participatory show that diverts the traditional role of the public to make it both the witness and the protagonist of the experience. Upon entering the space, the attendees receive an envelope containing instructions. In a playful spirit and under the benevolent eye of the creators, Marie-Renée Bourget Harvey, Krystel Descary, Claudiane Ruelland et Alexandrine Warren, the participants are encouraged to take part collectively in the construction of a world apart.
An intimate and universal human experience that is a tribute to encounters and the thrilling strength of numbers.
